This is the fourth electronic stethoscope I’ve owned. By far the best and most advanced I’ve used. The ability to see the rhythm is incredible. Sound quality is excellent. Everyone that sees it in action is amazed.
Can we use it to take blood pressure too?
Eko is very amazing, helps me to identify EKG rhythm and clear breath and heart sounds. I’m doing home visit and this equipment is highly recommended to have.
Like it overall except I wish the volume was louder when listening via iPhone on speaker
very useful, excellent sound quality ekg function-handy at bed side easy to operate
A great tool to make clinical diagnoses easier, if we all had one and used our skills to actually listen to patients rather than ordering expensive but useless tests, maybe healthcare would be affordable in this country.
Worked out of the box and easy to connect to both my iPhone and iPad. Wish I had this a long time ago. Great addition to our telemedicine program,
Have been using this EkoDuo for a few weeks. Our practice is Allergy & Immunology so the main use is for chest auscultation. This device can actually provide clear breath sounds through light clothing. Outstanding sound quality. The ability to adjust volume and frequency works very well to adjust to different situations. We have many obese patients - and now I can hear heart sounds clearly. Already have saved referrals for EKG when irregular cardiac rhythm was heard. EKG feature even helps allergists. Far better than my Littmann electronic stethescope. In my opinion this is a very valuable tool for virtually any clinician.
I am a Family Practice Physician that works in an Urgent Care setting and private practice. I saw the EKO ad and I was very interested. At first I was very skeptical, but I received the stethoscope and set up the app. I love it! I think it is an amazing way to do a quick assessment on whether or not a patient is having a heart problem or not. It is a quick and efficient way to do quick triage rather than waiting for an old-fashioned EKG that takes about 15 minutes just to set up. I am very happy I spent the money to buy the EKO (and by the way it's not that expensive, it is money well spent) and am using it in my practice daily including on my family members! Please buy it doctors, it is the wave of the future!
Excellent piece of technology that helps to augment patient exams.
Awesome convenience and great accuracy.
Excellent diagnostic device for Pre-hospital field care. Amplified lung sounds are an advantage in noisy environments. The quick ECG great for a fast look for irregular heart rates, and a time saver for rapid assessments and transports. Documentation and retrieval is another advantage. Look forward to the evolution of this devise and further adoption of data based clinical support.
So far I love it. Caught a person in a-fib the first week, that probably wouldn’t of been caught without it.
Love it. I love tech and this definitely makes me nerd out. Fantastic sound. Pneumonia went from crackles to actually hearing the fluid percolating. I’m EM, so the EKG not super necessary for me, but it puts on a good show for my patients. We spend time, I SHOW them I’m paying attention. Worth it.
Really impressed with the quality of materials and the audio of this product. Big believer!!!
I am hearing impaired and for many years I had difficulties during my undergraduate nursing course because I could not use ordinary stethoscopes. Teachers even said that this profession was not for me because I could not do auscultation satisfactorily. Everything changed with the arrival of Eko Duos. After years in the queue and made all the bureaucratic procedures of Brazil, I got a copy of this wonderful Stethoscope. For the first time in my life I had autonomy to perform auscultation, I finally got the normal and abnormal sounds of the human body. It is being an accessibility device, with loud, clear and distinct sounds, allowing good results in my headphones. Thank you very much Eko team for providing me with my inclusion in society, in addition to thanking Professor Vilma who believed in me, helped me before and after this new journey with Eko Duos.
It works! Very easy to use and informative tool to detect atrial fibrillation. The suprisingly good quality, very well filtered one lead ecg recording and the syncronized heart sounds are clearly valuable information, easy to interpret. All in one device, in a small form factor. The upcoming automatic interpretation will be a nice addition. I am very satisfied, this is a real help for a GP. Sometimes it is useful to detect the presence or absence of heart activity, electric and mechanical. It is possible to present lung sounds to the patient, improving involvment of the patient. No need to wet the electrodes in most cases.
Awesome device. Getting great sounds from it!
Works well. I hope to use in clinical situations where obtaining a routine ECG is impractical
It's a great device with great price and I already have recommended it to a few people. Pros: Great audio. It comes with stethoscope tubing. App is great. The charging pad is amazing and it is way better than plugging your stethoscope to a charger. I think it is worth the price. Cons: Can't export audio from your phone and you need to log on a website. EKG lead reading is too small and it's hard to make diagnosis so then you are forced to record it and look at it at much closer distance. If the EKG was amplified it would have been much nicer. My biggest problem with it is If you use Bluetooth headphones such as airpods to listen to the audio, then the audio and EKG pauses every 2 second and it becomes unusable. I can't say I recommend using Bluetooth to listen to patient heart lung with this device. I was a bit disappointed with this as I have another electronic stethoscope that I use my Airpod Bluetooth audio with and that works fine so I was really looking forwad to using my blutooth headphones with this. My guess is the input and output in this device uses all of Bluetooth bandwith so it can't handle the data. But my question is why can't the data be compressed and not be transmited as wave file?
